First and (Potentially) Last Devlog of this Game


Thank you for looking at the game and this devlog. I'm aomikki.

It might be quite anticlimatic to see a game that is released and yet have postmortem on its first devlog.

The game was planned as a snack-sized for a little gamejam I did with my friends to boost our morale in developing games. It lasted for three days. It was rough, but I enjoyed it and I learned a lot from the jam. There were way too many ideas that could fit into this puzzle, after all it's a simple game that was inspired from an ads.

I personally want to move on a bit, trying to developing and experimenting other games. However, I had this thought recently, "what if I let any devs expand this game instead?" And so this game is published, a year after that jam. I decided to make it open-sourced so that everyone can extend it to the way they wanted too. And so you can click on these texts to open up the git project. Fork it, modify it as you wanted. Just don't forget to put me in the credits. Or if you don't mind, you can pull it back to this and I'll update it with you in the credits.

I guess that's all I could say in this blog. If I could edit this blog anytime later, I will try to edit it as soon as possible to express my thoughts more from this game.
